The Parish Nursing Unit seeks to foster physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness among the congregational members leading to healthy and healing relationships with God, family, and the community. Parish nurses serve as health advisors, educators, and advocates. Our Parish Nurses are registered nurses with a minimum of two years experience with a current license. They use their training and experience to serve the needs of the congregation and community through a range of programs and services, including the following:

  • Visiting the sick at home or in the hospital
  • Providing health counseling
  • Providing health classes/information
  • Arranging for health screenings
